Legal notice according to Battery Act / BattG
In connection with the distribution of batteries and accumulators, we as retailers are obligated by the Battery Act to inform you as consumers of the following:
You are legally obligated to return batteries and accumulators. You can return them after use personally to us, to a municipal collection point, or to local retailers. Alternatively, you can return the batteries and accumulators purchased from us in a prepaid envelope.
You can find the return address in the imprint of the respective offer.
Batteries containing pollutants are marked according to the Battery Act with a symbol consisting of a crossed-out waste bin (§ 17 para. 1 BattG) and the chemical symbol (Pb, Cd or Hg) of the heavy metal that is decisive for classification as containing pollutants (§ 17 para. 3 BattG).
The symbol of the crossed-out waste bin means that the battery/accumulator must not be thrown into household waste at the end of its product life:

The signs with the chemical symbols mean that the battery/accumulator contains the specified chemicals:
- 1.) contains lead
- 2.) contains cadmium
- 3.) contains mercury
