What does "refurbished" mean at Toredo?
Refurbished means professionally refurbished by us. Every device goes through a multi-stage quality process: technical testing, optical evaluation, cleaning and repair if necessary. The result: devices that work technically like new, but are significantly cheaper and more sustainable.
What do the optical conditions "Premium", "Excellent", "Very Good" and "Good" mean?
Our optical conditions refer exclusively to the external appearance – technically, all devices are perfect:
- Premium: Optically indistinguishable from a new device, perfect condition
- Excellent: Display: like new; Housing: no scratches visible from a short distance
- Very Good: Display: minimal light scratches; Housing: light scratches (no dents)
- Good: Display: no visible scratches when display is on; Housing: small scratches or dents
How does the Toredo quality process work?
Our 4-phase process:
- 1. Purchase and initial inspection
- 2. Complete functional test and optical evaluation
- 3. Technical refurbishment, cleaning and repair if necessary
- 4. Final quality control and certification
Only devices that pass all phases go on sale.
How is the battery performance of refurbished devices?
You can choose between two battery options:
- New: Brand new battery
- Optimal: Ideal for average daily use
All batteries have at least 80% of their original capacity. Batteries with less than 80% are automatically replaced during refurbishment.
Shipping & Delivery
Are there shipping costs?
No, shipping is always free throughout Germany. Shipping costs are already included in the displayed price. Return shipping is also free for you.
How fast is delivery?
For payments received by 2 PM, we ship the same business day (Monday to Friday). Delivery time is usually 1-3 business days within Germany. Since we are based in Munich, national and Bavarian holidays are naturally excluded.
Do devices come in original packaging?
When possible, yes. If the original packaging is damaged or not available, we ship in neutral, secure packaging with appropriate protection. The functionality and safety of the device remains unchanged.
Warranty & Returns
How long is the warranty?
Every device receives at least 13 months warranty from the purchase date. The warranty covers all technical defects that are not caused by improper use. Details can be found in our warranty terms.
Can I return the device?
You can test the device free of charge for 30 days. Return shipping is also free without giving reasons. Simply contact us and we will send you a return label.
How does a return work?
Very simple: Put the device in the original packaging, attach the return label and take it to a parcel shop. After receipt, we check the device and refund the purchase price within 7 business days.
What does the warranty cover?
The warranty covers all technical defects: defective buttons, display failures, charging problems, etc. Not covered are damages from drops, water damage or other improper use. Further details can be found in our warranty terms.

Which payment methods are accepted?
We accept all common payment methods: credit card (Visa, Mastercard), PayPal, SEPA direct debit and bank transfer/prepayment.
How secure is my data?
Highest security: SSL encryption for all data transmissions, GDPR-compliant data storage and secure payment processing through certified partners. Your data is treated confidentially and not shared with third parties.
Sustainability
How sustainable is refurbished really?
Very sustainable: Every refurbished device saves emissions because we avoid raw materials. How much depends on how much is replaced. The less that is replaced, the better for the environment. By extending product lifespan, valuable raw materials are conserved and electronic waste is avoided.
What about the tree planting program?
With every order, we plant a tree in cooperation with Eden: People+Planet. This creates sustainable forests in Africa, Asia and Latin America through our customers – community-based and designed for the long term.
